About

“There are only two mistakes one can make along the road to truth: not going all the way, and not starting.”

The Buddha

New Years Eve Satsanga at Sri YogaWelcome to Padawan Yogi, (formerly known as Adho Mukha Svanasana). Here I chronicle my experiences with yoga along with other items of interest. I originally chose Adho Mukha Svanasana as the title because it’s one of my favorite poses. It’s a very versatile asana incorporating an inversion and a forward bend while working the arms, shoulders, core, hamstrings and calves. The asana also serves as a transition between many other asanas. If anything, this blog is about transition.

I changed the name because I liked the way it sounded and the Jedi and yogis seem to have a lot in common. I also consider myself to be a padawan learner and it reminds me to keep a beginner’s mind.. However, yogis, unlike the Jedi, are never too old to begin the training.

I hope you will find something here that is useful or inspirational for you.

Namaste,

Rick Romig
