Bhakti Vinyasa Project, 09/11

Has it really been nearly a year since Luna, Joshua and Katy last brought the Bhakti Vinyasa Project to the Sri Yoga Center? I guess it has. As always, it was great to see Luna, Joshua and Katy again. It was also great to hear Luna play songs from her new album, One Shared [...]

Govinda Narayana – Kristin Luna Ray

Kristin Luna Ray with Sangita Devi performing Govinda Narayana, a new chant off Luna’s upcoming album “One Shared Heart”.

I’m looking forward to hearing her perform at Sri Yoga next month with the Bhakti Vinyasa Project and the kirtan.

BVP & Nada/Bhakti Yoga

I attended my fourth Bhakti Vinyasa Project at Sri Yoga Center today and thoroughly enjoyed it. Katy Knowles of Yoga hOMe led a class that was a mix of vinyasa flow, mantra, and free-flow dance accompanied by the music of Kristin Luna Ray and Joshua Canter.

Later on, I attended Luna’s Soul of Voice [...]

BVP at Sri Yoga

Bhakti Vinyasa Project at Sri Yoga

This morning I experienced the Bhakti Vinyasa Project at Sri Yoga Center for the third time. I took part in the BVP at Sri Yoga in October and December of last year and enjoyed both of those events immensely. Today’s practice was just as good, maybe even better. I think it gets [...]

Opening up

Recently I was thinking about the apparent lack of progress in my yoga practice despite attending four or five classes a week. I felt that I was less supple, less capable of holding certain poses and experiencing more discomfort in some poses. There also seemed to be a lack of progress in calming my [...]

Climb by Kristin Luna Ray

I love having this song playing in the background during Savasana. I find it very calming and inspiring. I’ve attended two of the Bhakti Vinyasa Project performances at Sri Yoga Center in Dayton and I’m looking forward to the one coming up in [...]
